Lets face it, your Zoom Q3HD is nothing more than an expensive paperweight if the batteries are dead. With the Gomadic AA Emergency Battery Extender, you can simultaneously power (meaning you can also being using your Q3HD at the same time) and recharge your device in a pinch. All you need to do is place 4 standard AA batteries (either disposable or rechargeable), flip the one switch, connect it to your Q3HD and you are back in business. Unfortunately, the modern trend today is no longer to match accessory design to predefined specs product but rather to focus on broader product compatibility. For example, our competitors would simply email a foreign manufacture asking for any charger they have on the shelf. Their approach is if the connector fits than it should work, however, at Gomadic we know the long term the effects could be damaging with this approach.
