These drums are heavy duty with welded handles, used by the military for food storage. The drums are used, the salt is new.

They have gaskets to make them air tight. The salt is packed in an air tight food storage bag inside barrel. Salt does not need temperature controlled storage; salt is a mineral and does not deteriorate over time. These drums make storing salt easy. This salt is suitable for eating or canning.
