1909 Article: Electricity Makes Saving in Meat-Curing

This is an original magazine article that was removed from the November 1909 issue of Technical World Magazine. The title of this article is "Electricity Makes Great Saving in Meat-Curing" by H. G. Hunting. A paragraph from this article is provided below:

"A process for curing meats by electricity and thereby saving from a quarter to half the time required and much of the expense, has been undergoing long and successful tests in Cleveland. A company which has control of the process, has been running a plant with a capacity of some fifty tons a month and supplying upwards of one hundred and fifty stores with the product since March 1909, and both to retailers and to consumers the product has been giving the greatest satisfaction". NOTE: The Cleveland company is not named in the article.
