At this "starter" size, large foundations and grants are not available, and smaller, family foundations in Georgetown may or may not require 501.c.3 status for approval.

This glider is in between those two descriptions and comes with the cushions that were on it when I inherited it. It is not perfect; it is aged, used, in old outdoor condition with some paint peeling, but is in good restorable condition if you even like painting old things shiny new. It has been a comfortable place from which to watch the horses on the ranch for over eight years now. Hay is tripled in price so that is why we are listing it today. We love it and hate to see it go. Bidding Terms:
1. Please read the whole listing before bidding.
2. Please ask any questions at least 48 hours before end of auction, excluding weekends, or we can't promise to respond in time.
3. We work Ebay on Mondays through Fridays from NOON to 6 pm only. Purchases made on Saturday, for example, would get our invoice on probably Monday. We try to use USPS "if it fits, it ships" as our first method of shipment but if we must upgrade because the precut boxes will not safely ship your item, we reserve that right to make that judgement call and we will contact you about the shipping and reach an agreement. If you disagree on the upgrade to UPS, then we will ship according to your instructions as long as you release us from liability and the cost is no more than what was stated in the auction. We must do this because: we had a buyer insist that we send a glass item the cheapest way possible, which of course, left us wide open for complaints and damages. They refused to let us ship the antique glass via UPS, packed correctly by UPS, yet refused to release us from any liability or recourse. We retain the right to make the final decision in this matter of proper shipping.
4. All shipping quotes in the auction listing are estimates only and subject to change to actual if upgrading becomes necessary as explained above. Once Paypal confirms your payment, we ship within 48 hours.
5. Buyers are required to pay for the item within 24 hours of close of auction, and notify us within 24 hours of receipt if there is a complaint. We beg buyers to let us know that they received the item within two weeks of receipt of the item, and of course, we hope, leave feedback. Your happiness is important to us. We will leave immediate feedback once we hear from you that all is ok. We worry!
6. Items are presented as factually as possible but The Antique Club is a social group, not a group of experts or authenticators that certify antique or vintage items. We are available for questions about any listing at least 48 hours before end of auction EXCLUDING weekends. Weekends are from 6 pm Friday to 10 am Monday.
7. In the event of a breakage or damage to your item through our handling here at the ranch prior to shipping, all money will be immediately returned with our apology. We try to be careful, but we are operating with volunteers and differing staff on certain days. We learned this the hard way when we dropped a piece of furniture on stairs because the buyer had asked us to store it until they could "figure out" a way to pick it up. He then gave negative feedback which was uncalled for and is a burden in our ranking although he immediately received all his money back. In addition,we can't be responsible for USPS handling and breakage and have not found the USPS insurance to be worthwhile. We just had some uranium glass returned to us because USPS had ripped the mailing address label off somehow.
8. If you are a Bridlespur Foster Parent, additional discounts may apply after the Ebay process has ended.
9. We just can't do returns due to some folks out there who order antiques and collectibles, take a part off of it to replace on their broken item, then try to return their broken piece, saying that OUR item was damaged in shipping and they wish to return it. Sorry!!! The pricing on our items, at about 30 cents to 70 cents on the dollar below retail, is also too low to withstand the very few who try to take advantage. All Buyers are begged to please notify us of their receipt of item within 14 days of its delivery so we stop worrying and are free to buy animal food with the payment.
10. FREE SHIPPING for Buy It Now purchases $50 and over IF you BUY IT NOW at the BUY IT NOW price within the first 48 hours of the stated auction period. Of course this does not apply to "pick up" only items. We decide the shipping method and packing material, send it insured with delivery confirmation.
11. Despite any info erroneously stated elsewhere, we only ship to the USA 48 contiguous states. ALSO: Please observe if item is PICK UP ONLY. We do not arrange deliveries and we will not store for longer than 10 days after you have paid. Failure to pick up within that time triggers a return of your money less a 20% "re list" fee for our removing it from the marketplace. If you paid, for example, $100 for the item, our relist deduction before your refund would be $20.00.
WHEW...I think that is it but situations always cause me to keep adding terms! Believe me, it is annoying to us also!!!! The majority of Ebayers are so great but we must address issues as we learn about them so we figure out how to do this right!
