1967 US Pending Made in Japan MATTEL SKIPPER with a #2 on her bottom.  She has long silky brunette hair with blue eyes framed with long lashes.  Her waist is a "twist and turn".  Skipper has a large amount of clothing...most vintage but 6 pieces with velcro closure which must be newer.  I am not sure all clothing items belong to skipper but all pieces where found with doll.  Most clothing untagged but a few pieces are tagged with her name & others are identifiable by sight.  I have described each piece & grouped into picture lots.  I know it is lengthy but wanted to cover each piece to help with identification, any repairs needed & any tags present so please read so you know what you will be getting.  All items will be coming from a non smoking home.  Please feel free to ask any questions, I may have inadvertantly missed something that is important to you! 

 Picture #2, 3, 4, & 5 show skipper in her red dress which is tagged, wearing pink undies with snap on side for ease in donning & black Japan marked slip on shoes.

 Picture #7 shows 10 dress both short & long, gowns & day dresses:

 (left to right top row) Ball gown of pink satin with gold flecked tulle sleeves & short skirt layer which has 2 snap closures in back tag "made in Taiwan", yellow cotton dress with pink & blue rickrack trim snaps in back with 2 snaps no tags, lime green velvet? short dress with long lacy sleeves, gold colored buttons & chain trim closes with single snap which needs to be resewn(both snap pcs present) untagged, multi floral cotton dress with long sleeves, eyelet trim at neck, hem & bottom of sleeves closes with 2 snaps in back,
 (bottom row) fancy gown with irredesant layers, ribbons at waistline, sheer sleeves & hem line with lace 2 snap closure in back untagged, white waffle cotton dress/coat/robe? with tiny gold buttons & gold trim at waistline 2 snap closure(1 snap loose need resewn), satin soft blue with boat collar single snap in back(collar needs resewn to bodice along back), another cotton floral dress with long sleeves, eyelet trim neckline, end of sleeves & hem line different shade than other one in first row at end snaps close in back with 2 snaps untagged.
 (2 in middle at one side) brown skirted short cotton dress with plaid bodice, yellow rickrack trim 2 snap closure in back untagged, hot pink shift style dress with white rickrack at hem single snap closure in back untagged.

Picture #8:  8 pcs of clothing: top row:  yellow knit with plaid knit skirt dress(coloring has "bled" onto top bodice) 2 snap closure in back, lime green cotton dress with yellow ribbon trim at waistline & yellow rickrack hemline single snap closure, orange/brown/yellow cotton sleeveless dress with plastic yellow "belt"(missing end of belt) single button with elastic loop closure in back, blue stretchy knit bodice with floral cotton print dress pull over head style, blue one piece with striped shorts, sleeveless top(this piece is usually seen in red color) 2 manufacture snap closures in back, hot pink & orange one piece ?swimsuit with yellow plastic trim at waist slip on style,  one piece white(dirty needs soaking) blouse with shorts, elastic puff sleeves, peter pan collar, tiny white buttons down front closes with single snap in back, white ballerina tutu with silver flecked tulle single snap closure in back(also needs soaking has tannish areas along arm holes)

Picture #9:  lime green coat with lining, pink (faded?) velvet trim, 4 small gold button decorative with 2 snap closure tagged inside "Skipper 1963 Mattel, Inc",  red wool jacket with blue plastic trim with matching hat tagged inside jacket "Skipper 1963 Mattel inc.", pink coat dress? with ribbon tie & front snap closure(bluish ?bleed staining at bottom of front panel), multi color crop jacket of cordoroy, white ?apron with tie closure, pink & white hat, bright yellow ???? elastic center with ruffle, 2 blue hangers, 1 white hanger, white slip on shoes marked "China", turquoise blue slip on shoes marked "Taiwan". yellow slip on shoes no makings, & single pink shoe no markings.

Picture #10:  red & white polka dot long sleeve blouse(needs soaking), elastic waistline, single snap closure in front, pink & white cotton PJ top with white lace eyelet trim single snap closure(missing bottoms), silky yellow & bright orange long sleeve blouse with lace trim & single gold button decoration closes with 2 snaps in back, 6 skirts: elastic waist black & white checked, blue & hot pink elastic waist, yellow & white elastic waist with white rickrack trim, blue chambray ruffled skirt with lacy underskirt single snap closure, bright cordoroy orange/green/pink skirt with orange plastic waistline single snap closure, & pink with white ?knit skirt with tiny pink decorative buttons, white ties & single snap closure & lastly PJ bottoms with yellow fringe trim missing top, elastic waistline.

Picture #11:  These 6 pcs have velcro closures.  blue & white dress silky material, blue ?tennis outfit, undies sewn in has red/white/blue trim at waist line, pink & white checked blouse, skirt which is the most "worn" piece, shortie top with pizza hut emblem, sleeveless white shortie blouse with strawberry applique & red rick rack.
