This vintage set of Electrical Guide books are truly unique. Hawkins Electrical Guide Questions Answers and Illustrations: "A progressive course of study for engineers, electricians, students and those desiring to aquire a working knowledge of electricity and its applications. A practical threatise by Hawkins and staff." Impression 1927. Copyrighted 1917 by Theo. Audel & co., New York. Cosidering their age, all 10 volumes are in good condition. The bindings are good, the leather is good, all pages seem to be in tact. The pages are yellowed and the leather is worn with most of the wear on the corners and on the spine. Vol 1 is in the roughest shape as you can see from the pictures. The binding is loose and the edges are very worn, making some of the gold lettering on the spine hard to read. However Vol 1 is the only one containning a sketch of Thomas A Edison. A very interesting addition to your library.
