Polyurethane is a flexible body kit material similar to most of the original bumpers on existing automobiles. Most urethane body kit parts are much more durable and forgiving than duraflex or fiberglass, and fit similar to OEM parts due to the nature of the closed molding process during manufacturing. The downside to urethane is that the parts are heavier than their fiberglass counterparts and while urethane is almost indestructible it is much harder to fix when damaged, also many urethane parts do not include mesh grille. For instance, if you hit a curb hard with a fiberglass part it would probably crack or break, but if you hit the same curb with a urethane part it would most likely just flex with the curb and not break. Though urethane body kits are NOT indestructable, they are more forgiving. In general, urethane body kits are more expensive than fiberglass body kits.
