Up for auction is one (1) R & D Electronics CB200 Indoor/Outdoor Reset Control and Staging Control. This control is designed to control and modulate One (1) or Two (2) Boilers. What this does is it looks at the outside temp and raises or lowers the temp of the Boiler depending on what the outside temp is at that moment; this saves alot of money on fuel. These controls are promoted by the Gas Company and Focus On Energy and have been around forever, but this is one of the best controls and is what the Gas Company prefers. This control is very easy to install and use. Some of the features are: 1) Can control up to two (2) Boilers; 2) It will modulate both as needed; 3) It rotates the boilers based upon which one has the least amount of time on it, so as to keep the wear and tear equal; 4) There is a minimum temp setting so you can't shock the boilers; 5) Has a night set back feature. Also if you ever have a problem there are switches inside the control you just flip and the control is than out and you are back on your aquasats . most controls donot have this feature. There are alot of other good features.
I am a Boiler Control Technician by trade. I have found by experience that you save anywhere from 15% up to about 50% off of your fuel costs, so these controls pay for themselves very fast. This control was purchased for a job a while ago but customer was having financial difficulties and these controls are not returnable because each control is made per order, IN THE EVENT OF A PROBLEM I'M INCLUDING A 4 MONTH WARRANTIE WHICH I WILL HONOR, I'VE YET TO HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH ANY OF R & D CONTROLS SO I WOULDN'T BE TOO WORRIED ABOUT THAT.
