Description
DISCRIPTION... This unique 2 piece stainless steel tea egg infuser ball, (teapot) and tray measures 1" tall, and 1 3/4" wide tip of handle to tip of spout, and 1 1/8" inches in depth for the infuser. The tray is 2" in diameter across the center of the tray. It is a little Shiny stainless steel teapot with holes all around. Before tea bags, you would open the hinged top lid, fill it with tea leaves and drop it in hot water to brew your tea. It has a 5" chain attached with original flower medallion on the end (usually the first thing missing when these are found), so you can pull it up out of the water, and the stainless steel tray to rest it on. They are new old stock, never used, with No dents, no gouges, no scratches, no discolor. They come with their original purple cardboard packing/display stand. (nothing special, but is original) They are 60 years old. They are both stamped on the bottom in embossed letters MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN. (see photo), Cute teapot tea ball and tray, making this a wonderful addition for any collection.
