May 10, 1836 Power of Attorney Document from Charles Vaughan & Charles Vaughan Jr. to Ebenezer Lambert, allowing Lambert, I believe to spend up to $100 in their name in their Hemp and Wool Factory. Notarized by John Merrick. A couple of strange little diamond shaped seals next to the Vaughan's names--perhaps it is their marks. Neat little piece of Kennebec County history. Happy to answer questions. |
