PRODUCT PACKAGING

Most cake kits are in sealed packaging by the manufacturer. Rings, picks, plastic lay-ons and edible images are received in bulk, wholesale lots. They are repackaged into smaller lots for resale. This means you will receive your item in a ZIPLOC BAG. This does not mean they are used, just not sold in retail packaging. This would increase the base cost of the items to package in "retail packaging". If you don't want to receive the items in a Ziploc bag, then please don't purchase the item.

COLOR VARIANCE

The color of an item shown on your computer monitor may vary from the color of the actual product. We try our best to represent the true color of an item; however certain things are out of our control such as your monitor settings. PLEASE BE ADVISED that matching a particular color from the picture on your computer monitor screen to the actual product is difficult. Please allow for a slight variation in color schemes.

SHIPPING

Orders are shipped from central INDIANA via US Postal mail. Orders are processed and shipped within 1 business day (excluding Saturday/Sunday/Holidays), average delivery is 3-4 business days. ORDERS DO NOT SHIP SAME DAY! Please note, if you place an order on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, the order will ship Monday. If Monday is a federal holiday, the order will ship Tuesday. Once I ship your order, I have no control over delivery delays by USPS or customs. Please contact me immediately if you are having delivery problems.

CUSTOM FEES- International Buyers – Please Note:

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.

Customs fees are normally charged by the shipping company or collected when you pick the item up. These fees are not additional shipping charges.

I will NOT under-value merchandise or mark the item as a gift on customs forms. Invoices will be included in all packages, even those shipping to US addresses. Doing that is against U.S. and international laws.

US Shipping Options:

· ECONOMY SHIPPING (1st Class mail) - delivery averages 2-5 days

· STANDARD SHIPPING (Priority mail) - delivery averages 2-3 days

· EXPIDITED SHIPPING (Express mail)- delivery in 1-2 days, overnight to SOME large urban zip codes. Certain zip codes, usually smaller towns and rural areas, are a 2-day delivery commitment. Please contact me regarding specific delivery commitment for your order if there is any question. EXPRESS MAIL IS THE ONLY SERVICE WITH GUARANTEED DELIVERY DATE/TIME.

International Shipping Options:

· 1st Class International mail - delivery averages 3-4 weeks, sometimes longer (online tracking is NOT available to buyers, however USPS can confirm delivery through customs)

· International Priority Mail Package - delivery averages 6-10 days, online tracking available to buyers

· International Express mail - delivery averages 3-5 days depending on country, online tracking available to buyers

· Global Express Guaranteed (GXG) - delivery is available only to limited countries and is VERY expensive!! I do not have this option listed for standard orders. Please email me for a shipping quote if interested.

PAYMENTS

Cakes Galore accepts Paypal. If paying via Paypal eCheck, orders do NOT ship until the payment has cleared. That means the payment must have been deposited into my Paypal account before I will ship it. This may be a day or two after it shows cleared in your account. Overall it averages 4-5 business days from the date you initiate payment for your order to ship.

Cleared payment

A payment is considered "cleared" after the money from your Paypal account has been deposited into my Paypal account. If you pay by PayPal balance, the payment will clear immediately. However if you pay by Paypal eCheck (this transfers money from your bank account), it may take several days, just like a paper check. Estimated delivery times will not reflect payment by echeck, only instant payments.

SALES TAX

By law, 7% sales tax is collected for all buyers in Indiana or orders shipped to Indiana.

RETURN POLICY

Unopened kits may be returned within 14 days of receipt based on the DC delivery date. A 10% restocking fee is charged on all returns, no exceptions. Original shipping is not refundable. Please email for an RMA number. The packaging MUST be unopened, if the seal is broken, a refund will not be issued. Items found to be defective due to manufacturer's defect MUST be returned with return shipping being paid by the buyer. EDIBLE IMAGES may not be returned. Buyer is responsible for return shipping in all cases.
