Concession Equipment for Drive-In Theaters, Snack Bars, Highway Stands.  "America is becoming "snack conscious" - we can hardly do anything unless we are eating.  Popcorn and candy in the theaters have proved this.  Now the problem is - how to get more of that "snack dollar."  One way is to give them a greater variety of things to eat, and the items you can put in are almost endless.  ...  For Drive-In Theaters these are "must" items: Popcorn, Sno-Kones, Hot Dogs, Soft Drinks and Candy.  In addition to these you can serve Ice Cream, French Fries, Hamburgers and Sandwiches of all sorts.  Just be careful that you do not "compete with yourself" by having too many snacks of one kind.  For instance, if you have French Fries, do not handle Potato Chips, or if you have Sno-Kones and Soft Drinks, do not handle Ice Cream.  Leave out the item that shows the least profit - if you don't have them, they will buy something similar."

Wonderful period piece, well illustrated, all the items needed for that Fifties movie experience.
