This is an EP250 Turbine . This is a very powerful Turbine motor with a 7:1 gear ratio that is completely sealed from the elements .It comes with the motor , gear box preinstalled , 3 blades , mounting plate , hub and all necessary hardware along with detailed instructions. The only thing you have to do is bolt the blades to the Hub and screw the whole thing onto a 2 inch pipe , you cant get much easier than that for assembly . This is a gear reduction unit that peaks out at 480 rpm and starts producing power at 7-8 mph winds which makes this a very low speed high output Wind Turbine. There is no need for strong winds to make power with its 7:1 gear ratio. The split tail design is perfect for keeping it into the wind to maximize its potential. The blades are virtually whisper quiet even in strong winds.The mounting plate with tail and hub are all steel construction and very durable to withstand extreme wind speeds. It has a sealed bearing for the swivel joint to make sure you are always pointed into the wind.
