Up for auction is an Antique RMS Brass Bouilotte 2 bulb Table Lamp. The lamp has a telescoping rod at the top. The overall length of the lamp ranges from 19.5 to 24 inches. The base measures six inches in diameter. The lamp is constructed of solid brass with a weighted cast iron base underneath the brass.
Overall, the lamp is in very decent shape. No dings or dents to the brass frame. Nice patina. Some rust to the bottom cast iron. The cord has a cut in it so I was not able to test the lamp to see if it works. The thumb switch does turn, but not as easily as one would expect, so there is always the possibility that the switch needs to be replaced. The wiring is original.
The lamp is missing the shade hanger and does not come with a shade.
The heavy cardboard faux candlesticks are in pretty decent shape, as these typically are pretty beat up on these old lamps. There are some slight tears and frays to the cardboard as seen in the pictures, but you should be able to cover it all up by spraying on a new coat of white paint.
The lamp weighs 4 pounds ten ounces. The bottom is stamped R.M.C. 1213.
