For thousands of years, dog has been man's best
friend. Well doesn't your best friend deserve the best possible
house? While we believe all dogs should be living inside at home,
we realize that is not always possible. We also realize that
purchasing an insulated doghouse, necessary for the dog to survive cold
weather, can cost hundreds of dollars. That's why we have created
this set of plans.
Some breeds of dogs can
live outside during the winter, if they are provided with an insulated
doghouse of the proper dimensions. The dimensions are directly related
to the size of the dog and are critically important if the dog is to
maintain warmth in the doghouse with its own body heat. The more
heavily-coated breeds will endure cold temperatures more easily than
will the short-coated breeds, such as Dachshunds, Chihuahuas, Bulldogs,
Boxers, etc.
Dogs should be acclimatized to outdoor living when
they are young and also when the weather is warm. Owners should be aware
that, during severe weather, dogs may have to be brought inside the
family home. Aged, young or infirm animals should not be housed
outdoors. Dogs with short coats are prone to frostbite. Dogs that
are ill or elderly must be kept inside in cold weather for their well
being.
But for those dogs that can live outside, how do you find the right
doghouse for them? Well, you can build one with our plans!
This plan set contains all 15 of our most popular doghouse plans, that
include sizes for small, medium, and large dogs as well. We
include such options such as patios and covered decks as well. We
even have a dual entrance doghouse for multiple dogs, and plans for
doghouses with an upper sun deck on the roof! We used to sell
these plans individually on our website, but we are now offering them
together as one complete set for sale here.
All of our INSULATED DOG HOUSE PLANS,
include an interior enclosed insulated sleeping compartment for the dog
that is specifically sized for the size of dog. If built following
our easy to follow step by step instructions, they will provide your dog
insulated shelter in cold climates that is protected from the wind.
There is a second doorway inside the house that the dog uses to access
its sleeping compartment that is protected from the exterior wind.
Detailed, easy to follow instructions are included for every step of the
process.
Also included, free of charge, is our
dog house construction guide. This short manual tells you how
to size your doghouse properly for your dog. Using this manual,
you can build and design your own doghouse, should one of our ready made
plans not be to your needs.
Most of our plans are about 19-20 pages, with
full color, step by step instructions of the construction process.
We also include a detailed bill of material for each type of doghouse.

Our small doghouse design is perfect
for a little teeny dog, such as a terrier or a poodle. The
exterior dimension of the doghouse, not included the optional
deck or porch, are about 49" Wide, 25" deep, and 27" high.
It includes an internal insulated sleeping quarters, with a
removable internal wind shield. The entire dog house is
insulated, and it comes with a hinged roof design that allows
easy access for cleaning. The plans come in three

Our medium doghouse design is geared
for a medium dog, such as a sheltie or cocker spaniel. The
exterior dimension of the doghouse, not included the optional
deck or porch, are about 56.5" wide, 30" deep, and 27" high.
It includes an internal insulated sleeping quarters, with a
removable internal wind shield. The entire dog house is
insulated, and it comes with a hinged roof design that allows
easy access for cleaning. The plans come in three

Our large doghouse design is for a
large dog, such as a Saint Bernard or Rottweiler. The
exterior dimension of the doghouse, not included the optional
deck or porch, are about 72.5" wide, 34" deep, and 47" high.
It includes an internal insulated sleeping quarters, with a
removable internal wind shield. The entire dog house is
insulated, and it comes with a hinged roof design that allows
easy access for cleaning. The plans come in three
different styles, plain, with a patio, and with a covered porch.

Our medium "multi-family" doghouse
design is geared for a couple of medium dogs, such as sheltie's
or cocker spaniels. They have two entrances, one on each
side, with a shared sleeping quarters. The exterior
dimension of the doghouse, not included the optional deck or
porch, are about 72.5" wide, 34" deep, and 30" high. It
includes an internal insulated sleeping quarters, with a
removable internal wind shield. The entire dog house is
insulated, and it comes with a hinged roof design that allows
easy access for cleaning. The plans come in three
different styles, plain, with a patio, and with a covered porch.

This last set is unique. These
are all uninsulated doghouses, meaning they are not designed for
cold weather, and they do not have separated internal sleeping
quarters protected from the wind. We have a small and
medium doghouse with a custom sun deck on top. The last
one is a two story doghouse for a pair of medium dogs.
These last doghouses are designed to be fun, and fun to build,
but they are not intended to be adequate for weather protection,
since they are not insulated with a separate sleeping quarters.
An internal shield sleeping quarters is mandatory in order to
have a warm cozy place for the dog to hide in cold weather.
These are great to build for a dog that only spends time outside
in sunny weather and sleeps inside during the cold weather. |

So, why should you buy these plans for us?
Let me give you just a couple of things to think about. All of our
doghouse plans contain the following features that are unique to our
plans:
Accuracy: All our plans are
CAD designed to minimum scrap and waste.
Confidence to customize: We
are including all 15 of our custom doghouse plans on one CD, along
with hundreds of other basic woodworking plans. After reviewing all of our
plans, you will have the confidence to build a doghouse to suite your taste
and will feel comfortable making small changes here and there to fit
your needs. You should be able to use our plans to come up with a
custom doghouse if you so desire.
Minimal fancy cuts: Standard
sized lumber is used as much as possible to minimize the amount of fancy
cuts you need to make. Little more than basic tools such as a
circular saw and miter saw are needed. All of our doghouses are
designed to be built with regular 2x4's and plywood, something any
beginner can handle. We didn't design them with any fancy
wood or require any fancy cutting or woodworking. Everything you
need to build one of these can be found at your local home store.
They look simple, and that is by design. They are designed to be
simple, easy to build, yet very effective at keeping your dog warm at
night.
Accurate bills of material:
Each plan comes with an accurate bill of material to make your shopping
trip and cost estimation easy.
Print as many as you want: All
of our plans come on this CD in Adobe PDF format designed to be printed
on 8 1/2 x 11 paper. Print as many as you need for your jobsite.
CHEAP TO BUILD:
Go out and price out an insulated doghouse pre-made and delivered.
And then go and take our bill of materials, included with each plan, and
price out how much it costs to build it. You will find out that a
comparable pre-built insulated doghouse will cost you 3 or 4 more times
to buy it than it does to build it. That's because we designed
ours easy to build and cheap. We use standard 2x4 lumber that is
so cheap and easy to obtain, and plywood and cheap siding. Our
doghouses can be built in one day in most cases. You simply cannot
buy one pre-made anywhere near the cost of what it will take to build
it, not to mention that with our 2x4 construction design, you will be
able to insulate your doghouse much better than any pre-made junk you
will find.
All original plans: These are
our plans, that we've developed over several years. We own them.
We own the copyright to our plans. Know that
you are getting them from the right source, and that we've put extra
care and our reputation on the line with these plans.
All of these plans are very easy to use and easy
to follow. You don't need to have fancy woodworking skills or high
dollar tools to build these doghouses. These are easy to read 2D plans
with 3D COLOR isometric views showing you all the critical steps you need to
follow when construction our sheds.
All plans on this CD are in Adobe PDF format.
You will need to download the latest copy of Adobe Reader to view these
plans. Adobe Reader is free for download off of Adobe's website,
and is likely already on your machine. You can view the 2D
plans with Adobe 5 or later.

be easy to follow and understand.
You don't need an engineering degree and be able to read complex
blueprints to understand our plans. You should be comfortable with
woodworking and have good solid building skills, but our blueprints are
still designed to be easy to read.
One of the most valuable
parts of our designs, is that each design comes with a FULL
material and tool list. Our Material list makes it
easy for you to go to your local home improvement store and
quickly and easily cost out your project. Just print
it out and go to your local lumber store and quickly and
easily determine the cost of your project. Heck, the
list makes it easy enough for you to place a phone call to
many stores at once and very quickly get an idea of how much
your project will cost.

It isn't worth a few bucks to us to have one unhappy customer. If

Yeah, so, there are lots of other sellers on ebay. Are you saying the
rest of them will rip me off? |

No, of course not.
But, beware of what people sell on ebay. Many sellers on here will
charge you an exhorbitant amount for shipping. Many will
"claim" to provide discount shipping only when you contact them,
they'll tell you they'll take a quarter off the shipping price for
each additional item. We never do that. Our combined
shipping policy is clearly spelled out for those to see. No
tricky or cheap discounts.
Simple as that. Also, when comparing our films to those of
others, take note of not only the price of the item, but also the
content. You'll see that we not only offer more content per
package then our competition, and not only at the cheapest shipping,

What kind of permits, codes, restrictions, paperwork, etc., do I need
to deal with before I build your shed/garage/gazebo, etc? |

We can't
answer that. Every county in every state has different
requirements. We encourage you to check with your local building
department before beginning your project. Different regions also
have different building codes and requirements. It is your responsibility that
whatever structure you build complies with those codes. Remember,
it doesn't matter where you bought the plan, or what plan you are using,
or if you are even using a plan, you are ultimately responsible for the
safety of the structure you build, so you will need to ensure whatever
you are building complies with your local safety codes and construction
standards. There is nothing more important that the safety of your
loved ones. With that in mind, if you are inexperienced in
construction, and are tackling a large project such as a shed, garage,
gazebo, etc., you should verify all that you are doing with someone who
is more experienced. |

My county inspector is
requiring that I do something different with the roof, I need to do
"xyz", can you modify the plan for "xyz" and send it to me? |

Are these easy enough for a
beginner to build? I have no experience, can I do this?
What do I need to know? |
|
Well, mostly, you can build this with
basic woodworking knowledge. Depends on how comfortable you
are with power tools and building your own structure. The
plans are written to be as easily understood as possible so that
anyone can understand them. However, you should have some
basic wood working skills and framing skills and basic knowledge of
how to join wood and build framing. If you are
unsure of what you are doing, it is your responsibility to seek the
advice of a professional. |

I want to build one of
your doghouses. It is your "xyz" design. Can you tell me
how much it would cost me to build this before I buy your disk? |
|
Lumber prices vary from
region to region, even from town to town. Building materials
are very volatile in terms of price. We don't keep track of
prices daily, and prices can vary from day to day or week to week,
or month to month. In order for us to give you an accurate
cost, we would have to print out the material list and start calling
stores and looking up prices, and we are no more responsible for
doing that, than we are helping you build your project!
Costing it out is part of the project, and that is something you are
responsible for. We won't even give you an estimate, because
we know if we underestimate, that some people will try to hold us
accountable for it. We do feel very comfortable in saying that
building one yourself will cost you a fraction of what it would cost
you to buy one pre-built. |

etc? Do you have one with x sides, that is y long? Can
you get one? |

You can always ask, but
the likely answer is no. We are always evaluating market
demand, and if there is a demand for a new product, we will research
it and make a determination on whether or not it is worthy of being
pursued. But odds are, if we don't have it for sale, then we
don't have it right now. And, we do not do custom plans on a
request basis. |

class mail.
In an effort to keep our costs down, that are passed along as low
prices to you, all of our disks are packaged and shipped in economic
sleeves and mailers. We do not believe in charging you an
extra 3 or 4 dollars like some people out there just to throw in a
25 cent plastic case.

TO USA CUSTOMERS: Most times, your package will arrive in about
5 days after we ship them depending on where you are at.
However, lately the Post Office it seems has not been very
cooperative with us and we've had a couple of customers wait a few
days longer than that. For that, we apologize. Please understand
that we cannot control the Post Office, so we can't guarantee a
delivery time. Please wait at least a week and half before you get
all upset with us. And if it still doesn't show up, contact us.
We've yet to knowingly have a customer who is not satisfied. The
only unhappy customers we have are those that don't bother to contact
us and don't give us a chance to fix the problem for them.
TO NON-USA CUSTOMERS: Same deal above, except your
packages typically have been taking about 2 weeks or so after we ship
them. We've noticed that maybe 20% of overseas customers have been
waiting as long as 4+ weeks for these shipments. The only
explanation we can come up with is that it must be stuck in some
container in some dock waiting on customs clearance. It happens,
and for those 20% of customers, we apologize, but there is very
little we can do about that. Your disk will arrive or we will replace
it.

customer may or may not be shipped in the same package, at our
discretion. We do not offer any additional discounts on

We do not require any customers to leave us positive feedback, we do
not consider it to be a purchase requirement. We consider a
customer leaving us feedback, and feedback in general, to be a favor
of goodwill. Our feedback is automated through auctiva and
works in the following way to ensure each customer who leaves us
feedback, gets the favor returned:
1. When your package arrives in satisfactory condition,
we ask you to leave
positive feedback so that we may close out the transaction.
2. An
auto-notification is sent to auctiva after your positive feedback is
received that the transaction is closed, and the system auto replies
with a positive feedback.
3. If you leave us
positive feedback, you should get a positive feedback in return
within a short time, sometimes a day or two at most. If you
leave a negative feedback, that situation is left for us to
individually review. Again, we ask that you contact us
first if you are contemplating negative feedback and inform us of
the problem.
4. We do not leave
feedback first. If you want positive feedback, please leave it
for us and the favor is returned 100% of the time. If you do
not leave us feedback, you will not get feedback from us.
5. Since all of our
products are set to immediate payment required, we can not evaluate
a buyer's payment time. The only thing we can evaluate is how
easy a buyer is to work with after the sale. In order for us
to do that, the transaction must be closed. For this reason,
we require a buyer close the transaction first by leaving feedback
so that we know we have successfully completed the deal.
We have developed this
policy to ensure that we do not spend time leaving feedback for
folks who do not bother to return the favor for us, as we have in
the past. If for some reason you are not satisfied with this
feedback policy, please refrain from purchasing. By purchasing
our product, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted all of
our policies.
