American Adventures Ranch is booking hunts for the fall of 2012.  This auction is for a special hunt.  Each year we harvest several bucks in the velvet, before the velvet dries up and gets rubbed off.   If you have ever wanted to get that velvet mount on the wall, now is the time.  Most states hunting seasons do not start until after the velvet has been rubbed off or is being rubbed off and the opportunity does not exist.  We offer these hunts for 2 weeks.  Hunts start on Mondays or Thursdays.  Includes 3 nights lodging and 4 days of hunting.  There are 4 dates that you can book to arrive.  August 23rd, August 27th, August 30th, or September 3rd.  This is an all-inclusive hunts, meals and lodging is included.  This hunt can not be used for any of the hunting packages after the 3rd of September.  You can contact us for pricing on any of those hunting packages. This auction is only for the arrival dates listed.

I am running this auction a little different than others I have ran.  The auction price you are bidding is for a 120-140 class Whitetail, but you can book for any size.  The final price can be figured by adding the amount below to the final auction price.  Pick the size you want and add this value to the final auction price.   140 up to 150 - $650; 150 up to 160 - $1,250; 160 up to 170 - $1,950; 170 up to 180 - $2,950; 180 up to 190 - $4,250; 190 up to 200 - $5,250;  200 up to 220 - $6,250.  Example: If the final auction price ends at $1,250 and you want to book for a 150-160 class Whitetail your total cost will be $2,500, If you want to book for a 180-190 class the total price will be $5,500.  We ask for a $500 deposit within 7 days, then nothing else is due until you are successfully done hunting.  The $500 deposit is deducted from the total price.  We will need to book for a certain class, that helps us with scheduling, planning, etc.  You can upgrade at any time while you are hunting, but it costs more to upgrade to a class than it does to book for a larger class right away.  If you win this auction you can bring up to 6 hunters for the same winning bid.  Each hunter would have his own private room.  We do have a discount for two hunters booking the same hunt and willing to share a private room.  We will take $250 off of each final hunt price.

You will see bucks in every class up to and over 200" while hunting.  These hunts will fill up quick.  Book now to ensure your spot. You will be hunting Scenic West Central Wisconsin where the Monster Bucks roam.  We have chosen to protect our hunters by keeping their IDs private, this prevents others from contacting you and eliminates the possibility of scams. There is a $500 deposit due within 7 days of the end of the auction.  We do add 5.5% Wisconsin State Sales Tax to the total you pay for the Hunt as required by law.  The deposit is deducted from the total.   If you are not successful you do not pay anything and you come back the following year on the same deposit.  That is part of our guarantee.  WE DO NOT HAVE ANY HIDDEN FEES.

You can hunt with the weapon of your choice,  whether you opt for Archery, Rifle, Muzzle-loader, Shotgun, or Pistol.  No license is required, it is all included in the hunt price.  Hunting can be done from one of our tower stands overlooking food plots, from different styles of tree stands for you archery hunters, or from ground blinds. We book our hunts to arrive on Mondays or Thursdays and include 3 nights lodging.  These are a 4 day/3 night hunts.   You can expect to see many adult bucks everyday while hunting here as long as you take the proper precautions prior to hunting. Most of the deer tend to be big typicals with heavy mass and long tines but we do harvest several nontypicals each year.

One of the big reasons hunters hunt with us is you can hunt by yourself without having someone look over your shoulder telling you what deer to shoot.  We trust our hunters and want them to have a great experience.  We take the extra effort to score our deer prior to putting them in the preserve and prior to you hunting.  When we score them we put a small colored tag in the ear that correlates to the size of the animal.  We have done this the last 4 years and everyone has loved it.  No more mistakes in scoring, no extra fees because the animal is a little larger.  We are very generous in scoring.  Scoring deer ahead of time also allows us to guarantee a deer in ten inch class increments rather than 20" increments only to find deer in the small side of the scale.  You can still shoot a larger size animal if you like and you will know what it costs when you pull the trigger, release the arrow, etc.  You will find the deer in our preserve as challenging to hunt as anywhere inside or outside of a preserve. The tags are for ease in scoring and only allows our hunters to have the hunt of their dreams without interference.  There is a guide that is there to take care of your needs at all times.  He takes you to the stand, picks you up whenever you like.  We transport, dress, and cape your animal.  If you need the guide to sit with you, he can, but we find hunters enjoy not having someone looking over their shoulder.  We take your deer for meat processing if requested and take care of your cape and horns as requested, whether it is to ship home or send them to our recommended taxidermist.  It is your hunt and we do whatever you want to do. You set the time you want to go hunting, come in, etc 

There are other very good reasons to decide to hunt with us.  Along with knowing what you are getting.  We promote and recommend our hunters bring along non-hunting guests.  They are allowed to come, join in your hunt, and enjoy your experience at no additional cost.  Our only requirement is that they stay in your private room.   Either in the same bed for a spouse or we will put you in a room with a bunk bed set up.

Another guarantee we offer.  We want you to harvest a deer you are happy with and have a hunt you are happy with.  If while you are hunting you decide not to shoot any of the deer that you see, you do not lose your deposit.  We roll your deposit over into another hunt, we take the loss on paying for the guide and lodging while you were here.

The terrain inside the preserve is awesome.  2 large streams travel through the property and meet in the middle that have wide, thick, tag alder bottoms.  There is an area of northern pines, mixed hardwoods, and marsh.  There is also an White Oak Ridge on the Western Boundary.  Your hunt will be very relaxing and enjoyable.  The end result of your hunt will be a large Whitetail and a big smile.  Please check out our photo gallery.  Each year we have many first time preserve hunters.  Many have a pre-manufactured idea on hunting a preserve.  I know that after someone hunts with us they will be back again at some point in the future and we will crush all pre-conceived ideas.

Your lodging and meals are included in the hunt price.  Lodging includes a private room.  Each room has its own full bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink.  My wife does all of the cooking at the lodge.  We offer what is the best value in the hunting preserve industry.   There are no hidden fees.  Our goal is to provide you with the hunt of a lifetime and have you leave completely satisfied and ready to return again in the future.

In 2011 we had a 99% success rate.   A $500 deposit is due within 7 days of the purchase of this hunt.  This Deposit is non-refundable, but if something comes up and you can not make it.  As long as you give us a reasonable notice we will allow you to reschedule a future hunt and your deposit will be applied to it.  All you pay now is your deposit.  The balance is due at the end of your hunt.  Upgrading is allowed during your hunt.  To upgrade you pay the upgrade price as listed on our website. 

If you want your hunt to remain private, that is fine.  Your photo will not be posted anywhere and we can take care of all taxidermy work with a local taxidermist.  

We offer many hunts for Whitetails up to and over 200" and hunts throughout the fall.  In 2011 we harvested 35 bucks that scored over 200"  The largest of which was 297".
