Royal Munich Bavaria Relish Dish Signed "Cambon" ZS & Co
This listing is for a vintage fine porcelain, hand painted oblong
relish dish that was created by Royal Munich in Bavaria.
It is signed by Cambon. There is a second maker's mark
which reads "Marseille, Z. S. & Co, Bavaria". Zeh Scherzer & Co.
(1880-1918) "Kovels' New Dictionary of Marks-1986.
All of these references can be seen in the photographs.
This is an eye catching piece.
The red, yellow & pink rose colors are vivid, the detail precise.
The 24K rim is just an added touch of elegance to this exquisite collectible.
The outter rim is scalloped with deep swoops adding great visual dimension.
It measures 8 1/2 inches long by 5 inches wide and is about 1 inch deep.
There are no cracks, chips or crazing. It is in excellent condition.
