Beautiful guitar! This 2006 Taylor GS acoustic-electric six-string guitar is in excellent condition and has a Sitka Spruce top, stunning Hawaiian Koa back and sides, and bound, ebony fretboard. It has wonderful tone with bright mids and highs and rich, but not boomy, lows, and has the older style of Taylor's Expressions pick-up system (uses two AA batteries.) The action is low and fast. Three knobs at the top of the body adjust bass, treble, and volume. A small nick at the top of the headstock is shown in photo. The fret bar shown in the photograph is between the second and third frets; generally, frets on the guitar have minimal wear. There are a few tiny pick marks below the sound hole. An additional photo shows a very minor factory defect in the finish, which is about 1/2" long, on the back of the guitar on a seam between the back and the binding, on the upper side of the treble bout, and looks to me as though the finish just didn't quite reach the edge at this spot. The top of the guitar is nicely played-in, has close grain, and shimmers with lots of beautiful silking. The Hawaiian Koa on this guitar is exceptionally beautiful--the photos speak for themselves. Deluxe hardshell case, and a humidifier, are included. No returns as I do not want to ship this instrument more than once.
