Up for sale is a lightly used 14" Surly 1x1 frame and fork. It's good for someone between 5' and 5'6" tall, depending on the inseam.
msrp is $475 new
I am selling it because my girlfriend did not catch the single speed fever. We loved the way this bike (and our five other Surlys) handled though, so we picked up a used Surly Troll.
It was ordered from a shop new in late 2010, but according to the serial number, it was made in 2008.
It was used for maybe 50 rides, mostly on pavement, in the 9 months it was assembled.
This is a used and loved mountain bike frame/fork, so it has several small scratches and rub marks. However, the only scratch (1/3") that made it through the paint is on the frame is on the underside of the downtube, so it's pretty hard to notice. The fork has light scratches on both sides, most likely from brush and lying on it's side. There are no dents or non-cosmetic damage to either the frame or fork. I can provide more pictures upon request.
Headset in picture is not included.
Steerer tube is cute to 188mm. That is short for a bigger bike, but as you can see in the pics, it's still pretty long for a small frame.
People love the way it handles. The CroMo steel was meant to ride comfortably, efficiently, and to withstand abuse. Check out the reviews and the Surly website for more information.
