Installation:

We have a database of qualified installers across the US and can usually refer one in your area.  Call Adam for a referral at 800/637-9973.  Prices vary greatly but will generally run between $50.00 and $100.00 per cable-run / jack (needed for each phone) plus approximately $200.00 to mount, connect and program the KSU.  If you are technically inclined, you can do this yourself by following our step-by-step instructions available upon request.

Norstar Modular ICS KSU Outline:

• Base control unit configured for 0-lines and 32-stations (0x32) with removable power supply.
• Two universal slots providing flexibility to add analog or digital line/trunk cards.
• Compatible with voice messaging, unified messaging, digital networking, and supports optional call-center features.
• Compatible with all popular Norstar M7000 and T7000 series telephones.
• Supports Analog Station Modules for connection to single-line devices such as a fax with an optional Analog Terminal Adapter (ATA).
• Supports ISDN-BRI, PRI, and T1 digital services as well as point-to-point communications and private networking between locations.
• R1 software supports a maximum of 120 lines or 128 stations.
• Music on Hold, Background Music, Call Conferencing, Call Transfer, Speed Dialing, Intercom and more.

Norstar MICS R1 Software Card: 

 The Modular ICS R1 software feature card supports all system features.  For systems with Caller ID, R6.1 or greater is required. 

NVRAM Cartridge, R1: 

RAM cartridge is required for use of system software on PCMCIA card.  This cartridge provides an interface between the KSU and the software card and also stores your custom programming.  For new release software cards, a NVRAM R2 may be required. 

Nortel 4X0 LS/DS Analog Trunk Cartridge:

We have Nortel experts on staff who are able to assist you with programming and troubleshooting.  Support time may be purchased for $99.00 per hour, one-half hour minimum. Inexpensive pre-programming of your system is also available.
