Sales Tax
For items picked up from or shipped to Iowa addresses, we are required by State law to
collect 6% Sales Tax.
FREIGHT SHIPPING
All large &/or heavy items (< 150 lbs) will be shipped
insured via freight carrier.
All freight customers are emailed delivery information which
includes freight company name, contact number, and pro# or tracking #. (please
check your spam folder!)
Commercial Delivery/Terminal Pick-up
- Commercial delivery - Locations
must have a standard freight height loading dock or fork-lift to remove
freight from truck.
- Terminal pick-up - Delivered to
the closest terminal to your city/zip code. Terminal will contact you when
freight arrives.
Residential/Home Delivery
- Delivery to your home.
- The freight will be unloaded and
placed onto your driveway.
- Home delivery does not include
moving the item/s into your home. However, if you offer the driver a
little cash they may move it for you.
- The freight company will contact
you to set up delivery time.
- Costs $120 to $160 above
Commercial Delivery/Terminal Pick-up
- Note: residential delivery
requires the ability for a large truck to be able to park next to your
home & you must have a solid surface driveway so a pallet jack can be
used to unload and move the freight.
** VERY IMPORTANT**
Inspect all item(s) carefully and only accept the freight (signature required) if
the freight has not been damaged in shipping. If you purchased an item
that already had damage you need to be 100% sure the damage on the item is not
new damaged caused during shipping. In most cases shipping damage will be
clearly evident because the outer packaging has been disturbed. We strongly
recommend completely unpacking the item(s) and inspecting before you sign the
bill of lading. Once you sign the bill of lading this relieves
the shipping company & Seller of all damage claims.
If damaged - have shipper note "damaged" on bill of
lading and reject the shipment. If you reject the shipment it will be Seller’s
responsibility to file a claim with the shipper.
In the rare event you accepted the freight and later found hidden
damage it will be your (Buyer's) responsibility to file a claim with the
freight company. We'll provide any necessary paperwork for you to file a claim
with the freight company.
Our
return policy is as follows: Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or
money refunded, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of
the item. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay for and ship the item back
to us. If the item is found to be faulty. If a customer orders the wrong
product or chooses to return it return will not be granted, so please be certain
of what you are ordering. Sales on electric items such as circuit boards
are final and no returns will be honored. Items that have been installed,
unless faulty with the exceptions listed above, are not returnable. The
return period is only valid for 3 days after the unit was shipped.
