Payment is due at the time of purchase. A non-paying buyer dispute will be automatically opened if payment is not received within four days of purchase.

Our policy is to ship all orders within 3 business/shipping days from receiving a cleared payment. Shipping days are the days our carriers accept shipments. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays taken by our carriers are not considered shipping days.
E-check users please note that it can take up to four business days - not calendar days - for an e-check to clear. Once the e-check clears we will ship within three business days.
While three business days is our stated handling time we can frequently ship the nexy business day after a cleared payment.
We ship to the address on the buyer's PayPal address only.
CDs and DVDs are shipped by USPS First Class Mail to both domestic and foreign addresses. In some cases USPS Priority Mail may be used.
Please note that eBay lists USPS First Class mail an "expedited service" which may lead buyers to assume this means overnight or one-day shipping. We ship USPS First Class, not overnight or one-day. First Class mail in many cases instances has the same delivery time as USPS Priority Mail.
If you have not received your purchase in 10 business days from a cleared payment, please contact us with an eBay message. If you have any concerns or issues at all regarding your order, please contact us. We try to answer all messages within 24 hours. A satisfied customer is our MOST IMPORTANT asset.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE:
- Shipping time to addresses outside the U.S. may be longer than U.S. domestic shipping due to distance, customs delays, etc. We have no control over this.
- Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
- Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
- These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up, do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

CD ROM & DVD ROM RETURN/REFUND POLICY:
Our disks are guaranteed. If you should get a defective disk, we will promptly and gladly exchange it for another of the same title and reimburse you the return shipping charge through PayPal. We want you to be satisfied with your experience with The Curio And Whatnot Shop. Please contact us before returning a disk so we may ascertain that the issue is the disk and not something else such as a codec or configuration issue as sometimes happens. We are willing to assist you with any difficulties you may have with our disks.
In compliance with eBay policies, we offer a money-back return. The disk(s) must be returned in the original cardboard mailer in unopened condition. Returns will not be accepted under any other circumstances. Please contact us prior to making a return.
NOTICE Please note that our digital libraries are CD-ROM and DVD-ROM disks. they are not standard CDs and DVDs and will not play in a standard CD or DVD player, they are strictly meant for use in a computer. If you purchase disks under the impression that they will play in a standard CD or DVD player, you cannot return them for a refund. It is the buyer's responsibility to read and understand the listings. Under no conditions will a buyer receive any refund because they do not understand that these disks do not play in a standard CD or DVD player. Our digital libraries work under Win9X, ME, 2000, XP, Vista as well as on Macintosh systems. We guarantee they will work and are willing to render assistance if you are having any difficulties. In well over a thousand disks, we have found only two to be defective and needed to be replaced. Because of the various types of document and multimedia files in our digital libraries, it is the buyer's responsibiltiy to be willing to install Adobe reader and other necessary software such as djvu, media players, codecs, etc, on their computer on order to be able to open the files in these digital libraries. Under no conditions may a buyer return a digital library for a refund because they are unwilling to install these programs or answer questions that would let us assist them determine what issues might be affecting their digital library. This has happened only once in over a thousand sales, and I was subjected to feedback extortion so I feel it is necessary to state this policy explicitly. |

The Curio and Whatnot Shop specializes in digital libraries on various subjects on CD-ROM and DVD-ROM. These libraries are assembled after hundreds of hours of scouring various sources and assembling these compilations. The selections we offer are so varied as to be beyond eclectic and cover a myriad of subjects from magic, metaphysics, literature, digital comics and religion to conspiracies, history, fringe science and more.
It is in this spirit that The Curio and Whatnot Shop makes these libraries available. Our digital libraries present a myriad of subjects and ideas. It is our philosoophy that the flow of information should be unrestricted with each individual person being responsible to evaluate it and decide for themselves what to accept. We do not endorse or espouse the subject material we sell, we merely present it.
Our digital libraries come to you in white windowed envelopes as shown below. While this is not a fancy as a jewel case, it allows us to keep our prices low and is also greener on the environment than using plastic jewel cases. We ship your libraries to you in a sturdy fiberboard shipping container.
We take pride in providing an excellent product at competitive prices. In most instances, you can get an entire e-library on disk on a particular subject for less than what you would pay for a single hard copy book, if such a book could be found. Many of the books in our digital libraries are out of print and available only at major university and divinity school libraries. Many titles in our vast collection are scanned from brittle books dating back as far as the sixteenth century and cannot be accessed by the public.
When you insert one of our disks in your computer's disk drive, it will automatically open to a web page (that is on the disk itself, not on the internet). Our disks do not install any softwate on your computer. The web page has a catalog of our listings. Here is a screen shot of the web page:
To access the disk's contents, click the "CLICK HERE" button and you will be able to browse folders and files on the disk from your web browser. If you do not have autoplay engaged on your computer, you can get to the disks' contents by opening the disk in a file manager and then opening the "Disk Contents" folder.
