“Hemi” blades are named for the unique hem that makes the blades both light and very durable. The “hem” is a double thickness design feature that runs the entire length of the blade. These blades have undergone extensive aerodynamic testing and are extremely efficient. Hemi blades have a low cut in speed and more momentum than aluminum blades. What comes with the kit? 3- 47” laser cut Perfection Hemi Blades™. 16 gauge galvanized. The total diameter is 8’-1, including the hub. These blades will last for decades in the harshest of environments. 1- Heavy duty 1/4” steel hub. Will not bend or flex like low quality hubs. 17mm bore size. Guaranteed for life. All standard bolts and lock nuts are included. The hub is pre-primed and ready to be painted your favorite color. The blades are naturally shiny, but you may paint them also. It is not necessary to paint galvanized blades. They are coated with zinc, and designed to last 20 years or more outdoors. Hemi blades are rated for 55 mph max wind speed, and are warranted for 6 months. If the blades fail in 55 mph conditions or less, we will replace them for free. You must pay for the shipping. The hub is guaranteed for life.We will replace your blades free of charge for up to 6 months if they fail. We may ask you for wind speed verification. You can obtain wind speed info from your local TV station. Warning: If you are installing a windmill including windmill blades: It is the sole responsibility of the installer to properly tighten all fittings and protect them from the elements. All exposed nuts, bolts and metal surfaces should be maintained to prevent corrosion and failure. WARNING! Installing and experimenting with windmill blades can be very dangerous.
