Message to previous viewers: I would like to thoroughly apologize for the tone of my previous listing. I was a bit excited of my first plush, and meant the tone to be in a jokingly manner, but came off a bit strong and arrogant. As one pony put- my levels of boasting rivaled Trixie. I hope that this revised post is more to everypony’s liking and would be happy to hear any additional concerns. Thank you. Be sure to follow this listing for any updates— I may have more to add later. Up
for bid is a talking Fluttershy plush. Sizing is cute and small enough to fit
most anywhere, take anywhere, or display on a desk— yet large enough to be a
pet-sized companion. The perfect, hold-in-your-arms, snuggie-wuggie,
huggle-tightly size. This pony took a LOT of time to make to make it as
show-accurate as I could in terms of shape, form, body porportion, etc. She is
made with very soft fleece, and stuffed with 100% polyester fiberfill. Sturdy
stitching with extra reenoforcement at the corners and high-stress areas
provides excellent durability. Use of both machine-stitching, as well as a lot
of detailed hand-stitching. Beautifully embroidered mouth, nostrils, and wings
have a nice vibrant color. The mane is accurately recreated with copic marker streaks,
and elegantly holds its 3-dimensional shape without any wire. The eyes and
cutie mark were created and designed as vector artwork in Adobe Illustrator,
using an average of many different reference pictures, and created as iron-ons,
then surgically cut out with an exacto blade, to give it that show look-alike
apperance. She has a nice "marshmellow-equine" weighted heft and touch.
There are no wires needed inside to support her— she is very study, stands on
her own, and even possesses some degree of poseablity. A problem with some
hand-made talking plushes, is that they may have volatile memory— which means
that it's batteries cannot be replaced, and can only be played so many times
before it stops working, or needs re-recording. This Fluttershy plush, however,
has NON-volatile memory and can live a long and happy life. There is even a
discreet, hidden-zipper compartment to change out the batteries. Fluttershy
comes with several phrases on both hooves, and even a song on each wing. The
switches are large and very easy to squeeze- no need to search for where a tiny
button is located.
![]() Wings have embroidered detailing on both sides ![]() ![]() The zippered compartment is well-hidden (and could even be used to store your muffins) ![]() With a bit of styling, you can even create the "Gala hairstyle" Weight: ~3 lbs. Size: 22" tall x 21" long Holiday
seasons are right around the corner— this could make a wonderful gift for
yourself or another. As a
masterpiece display of art, super fashion model, loving caretaker, or just
huggy-plushie, this pony would make a excellent addition to any collection. I really hope that I am able to spread happiness to others through my work, and hope that the new owner is thoroughly satisfied. This piece of art is the first I have ever sewn, taking great pains to get it just right; but as with any hand-made item, it won't be perfect. Fluttershy is a delicate pony, and needs plenty of TLC. Only use careful handwashing on any messes, as a bath could ruin her sensitive voice. Her eyes and cutie mark are waterproof, but are sensitive to high heat. This project took 2 months to craft, clocking in over 50 hours alone just to make Fluttershy, and even more time required to design the pattern. The result was a creation of a highly accurate and efficient pattern that reduces unsightly seam-lines as much as possible. I am uncertain if I will be making this model ever again— In fact, in my current situation, it is likely that I will never make any plushies ever again, so it may be the only opportunity to own one. I would REALLY LOVE to continue to produce high-quality pony plushies—HOWEVER, I need to make a considerable amount if I want to keep this project going as a job. This is your chance to not only have a one-of-a-kind plush, but to help a brony out with work, as well as support the community by aiding in the creation of more high-quality art. If you would like to see another of your favorite ponies in talking form or just show how serious about fine pony products you are, please feel free to make a donation- as big or as small as you'd like.
