Strong and Balanced!

 

For sale is a new Aluminum Wind Turbine Blade Hub with a Stainless Steel Non-Corrosive Stabilizer Bushing. 

 

This particular 8" diameter hub is drilled to accommodate 9 of the industries standard nylon / carbon fiber blades. (Blades not included in this sale).  It is also drilled to fit 3 - Warpdrive Airplane blades.

 

The first photo shows the Aluminum Hub with the Stabilizer Bushing already pressed into it.  The second photo is the reverse side showing bolt pattern. Third photo is a photo of the front side of the Stabilizer Bushing and the forth photo is the back side of the Stabilizer Bushing (which  presses into the Hub). The fifth photo is a photo of the blade style that accommodates this Hub (blade not included in this sale).

 

The Hub and Stabilizer items were produced on CNC machining equipment allowing for perfect balance and perfect blade spacing providing more production with less vibration.

 

I began my experimentation a few years ago using wind turbines with the industry standard 'stamped' hub which failed in a few months.  Poor quality as well as poor design.  I then went to CNC laser cut hubs which were much better, yet I still experienced tower vibration.  Balancing the blades was my next course of action to try to correct this problem, and it did help some.  Yet they still vibrated.  Then I designed and developed this hub and Stabilizer Bushing.  Vibration is GONE!  It works great!  And it is strong! 

 

During the R & D stage, I was also using industry standard tower mounts which failed in a high winds causing me to lose 3 wind turbines during at storm due to mounting bracket failure (which I have now remedied with my own brackets and also sell on ebay).  But the point I wanted to make was, the 'blade hub' did not warp / bend / or crack after the blades kissed the tower, broke off the PMA, and the balance of the assembly walked down my shed roof and hit the ground.  The hubs never failed at all. They are good, strong hubs!

 

Auction starting price is priced at my cost. 

It will never be priced at a lower price. 

 

We will continue experimenting with other blades and PMA's out there to eventually bring the most productivity to the market as possible.  So keep an eye on us in the future.
