Shipping Information

US orders will be delivered by United States Post Office (USPS)  Parcel Post, Priority Mail (or Express Mail depending on order value). USPS is usually 20-30% cheaper than UPS or FEDEX and just as reliable, it saves the customer money since you are the ones paying for shipping.

International orders will be delivered by USPS Priority Mail International (or Express Mail depending on order value) and your preference.

Orders will usually be shipped within 1 business day after receiving cleared payment.

Information for International Buyers

We ship to every country in the world. We will send you tracking numbers when items are shipped. Delivery is usually 10 business days after shipping, unless your customs delay packages.

Import duties (Customs Taxes) are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. These charges are normally collected by the delivering shipping company or when you pick up the item, do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

We are flexible and can work with you on the description and shipping documentation ("gift", "other" and item value). Keep in mind that even a gift requires a declared value for customs taxes since customs will collect tax on a “gift”.

Most of my sales are international and we have been 100% successful with customs on over 1000 items sold around the world.

Let us know when you pay for the item how you want the item described and the value you want placed on the shipping document. Many countries are now starting to ask for an invoice/receipt that matches the shipping document so if you need one, please send us an email and we will send you a receipt.

Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs (customs taxes) will be prior to bidding/buying so you aren’t surprised if you have to pay a customs tax before your item is released/delivered to you.

About me…

The biggest thing about buying on Ebay is not knowing who you are buying from so here’s a little about me and why I Ebay.

I am recently retired (very early). No, not because I’ve made a fortune on Ebay.

I was a corporate executive for a Fortune 50 company with over $60B in revenue.

I have been buying and selling on Ebay for several years now.

I originally started out using Ebay to find exotic cars (for my own personal use) that I was trying to purchase. My first attempt at an Ebay purchase was a Ferrari 348 and I was winning until the last 10 seconds.  I found out quickly what sniping was.

My first purchase on Ebay was a 2 year old Maserati for over $50,000.  Wired the money without ever seeing the car (yes, I'm a risk taker). I purchased it sight unseen from across the country since the car was still under warranty. I never would have thought I would ever purchase a car from a salesman who had his cell phone in his hand and walked around the car to describe to me any imperfections since he was in Florida and I live in Southern California (Orange County).

My next purchase was an $8 Cookie Monster toy (eats cookies) from Australia that my wife needed to support her Speech Pathology practice. 

Over the years I have bought and sold more than a million dollars worth of items on Ebay. Everything from Egyptian cotton socks (bought) to Lamborghini’s (bought and sold).

After retiring, I decided to start a little Ebay business mostly to help my parents. They live on a fixed income and I thought Ebay could serve a couple of purposes. First, a little extra income for them couldn’t hurt. Second, it helps them stay actively involved in something both physically and mentally. They are my packaging and shipping department as well as bookkeeper. 

That is why you will see me sell everything from $.99 for containers of shredded money to Lamborghini’s (when I get bored and ready to move to the next toy).

You can buy from me with confidence because I learned in business it’s all about how you treat your customers. While I would like to make a profit, my integrity and how my customers feel about me are most important. I have 100% feedback for a reason which includes people that have bought an exotic car (Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Lotus, Pantera) from me. Most live in other parts of the country or internationally and never saw the car before sending funds.

But I also would take care of every customer no matter the size of the purchase.

Recent Examples...

A college student from Rutgers bought an expensive watch for his uncle for his birthday but he was new to paypal and it took a while to clear his funds. I shipped it express mail at my cost so he would have in time for his uncle's birthday.

A lady from Texas said she just bought a house, escrow was expensive, money was tight and asked if I could sell her the Henckel Knife set (Retail $662, $360 at cooking.com) at the opening reserve price of $199. I remember getting my first house and how I could barely afford to get it so I sold it to her for $199 as a "house warming gift". She said it made her day. It made me feel good also. I obviously can’t support every request nor believe every request is legitimate but I am willing to consider requests.

We made a shipping mistake (a huge one) and shipped a customer 2 diamond money clips and a gold watch when he only ordered a money clip. We have multiple shipping locations and obviously got confused. Luckily the customer notified us of the error and shipped back the "extra" goods. He said he was going to buy a Windows 7 from me so I told him that because he was so honest I would sell it to him for $99 (retails for $199). It makes me feel good when someone who could have easily kept all items has the integrity to do the right thing. It is rarely rewarded so I thought I should do something.

The most recent story is a person won a $200 Shell gas card but I shipped him 3 $200 cards by mistake. He emailed me to let me know and I offered him 2 options, keep the 2 additional cards and send me $300 (a $100 savings) or I will refund him $50 for his honesty (he paid $200 for the card). He opted for the $50 refund and shipped back the other 2 cards. There still are nice and honest people in the world.

I had a person who retired from the military but still needed to work full time email about a Nikon Coolpix P90 and thought he might not win the no reserve auction. He was right but I emailed him and said that the next Coolpix I got I would sell it to him at a great price for his service to our country. When he got it he emailed me and said I should see the smile on his face. I said he could now take a photo of his smile and send it to me. We need to support the people who put their lives on the line for us.

Another woman emailed me that she was hoping to win a professional KitchenAid mixer but didn’t have much money. Her husband just passed away after 5 years with cancer. She quit work 3 years ago to take care of him but now she can’t find work. She used to work in a bakery and wanted the mixer to start a cake making/decorating business. I sold it to her for a great price and even still I told her she can owe me whatever she couldn’t pay. She’s been through a lot and I’m sure I can trust her to repay me. I’ve been very fortunate most of my life but understand what it’s like to need a hand every once in a while. She sent me photos of cakes she’s decorated (she has talent).  Everyone needs help and to be trusted sometime, I am lucky to be able to help (occasionally).

People often email me with their story but not asking for anything. That is when I usually choose to help out. I am not looking to be scammed (no one does). But I would rather take the chance and help someone rather than never help anyone so I don’t get taken advantage of. Like I said, I’m a risk taker.

I trust my customers to be honest and hopefully that works in the long run.
