Offered with no reserve, this terrific pair of antique sconces are in good condition with their original black painted detailing.  The fixtures have never been rewired and should be updated.  There is some wear and aging to the cardboard candle inserts.  The sconces would benefit from a good cleaning.  The previous owner has replaced the on/off switches, which can either be painted to match the finish of the sconces or replaced again.  Upon close inspection, we noticed that the heads of the bolts that hold the scones to the wall do not quite match, but this is not particularly noticeable.

Probably manufactured in the 1920's, the style is reminiscent of the Tudor/Spanish Revival look that was popular with residential architecture..  Each measures about 11.25" long, 10.25" wide and stands about 6" from the wall.  Both are marked on the back in relief with the logo of Artcraft lighting.
