The glass on this CLASSIC KODIAK is in FANTASTIC CONDITION as is the ENTIRE BOW. It is STRAIGHT AS A LASER BEAM and as POWERFUL AS A LOCOMOTIVE. I have had this a bow a few years now and can say with 100% certainty that this KODIAK will bring down an ELK. It shoots FAST & HARD & I MEAN HARD HITTING! I am confident that if you can shoot this bow properly you will find that it meets or exceeds the characteristics of any bow in its pound range BARRING NO MANUFACTURER OR BOWYER, BUT PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CAN HANDLE ITS WHOPPING 69# DRAW !!! There are a few NORMAL HANDLING MARKS and there is a factory installed quiver bushing in the risers handle and that is it!!! The GLASSED LIMBS BOTH FACE & BACK ARE IN FANTASTIC CONDITION.
***SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT THE LIMB GLASS:
I spent quite a bit of time turning the bow and looking through the view finder until you can see the glass at an angle. LOOK CLOSE & YOU WILL SEE THAT THE GLASS on this 1959 KODIAK is in SUPERB CONDITION! If you are unfamiliar with 1959 KODIAK glass you might mistake the grayish reflections in the finish as the glass being in not so great of a condition when in reality you are seeing glass in FABULOUS CONDITION! There are NO FILLED HOLES, NO TWISTS & NO CRACKS. There are a few microscopic stress lines BUT NO CRACKS. This bow is FULLY FUNCTIONAL with NO LIMB TWIST - 100% STRAIGHT and true.

I do not include used strings unless otherwise noted because I believe you should buy a new string at the exchange of ownership so you know “where your string is”. This bow takes a 16 or 18-strand b-50 Dacron or Flemish-twist string 64” AMO RECURVE BOW STRING (60” actual-length string). Everybody is happy when you add a new string to a gorgeous bow. NO ONE is HAPPY when an old string BREAKS unexpectedly on you. YOU COULD POKE YOUR EYE OUT! (Remember the movie … A Christmas Story!) ALSO, DO NOT USE A FAST FLIGHT STRING ON THESE OLDER BOWS. Strings can be found EASILY on eBay. If you need advice on which string to buy for this bow, just let me know.
