| Thank you for stopping to look at this sale- Up for sale is one of my vintage instruments, a early Richter Banjo Uke from around 1930. This one still has the wooden resonator back. This neat old uke is in nice condition and has the original paint. The back has a tobacco sunburst with red hearts and arrows in a circle. The screws on the tuners are matched red as well. This uke has normal scratches and wear- it is 80 years old. The neck feels solid, the tuner gears are in nice shape. The fingerboard paint has some wear from the fingers. The brass frets show wear but there is plenty of frets left. It does need a bridge and trapeze. I looked it over good and the only crack I see is in the rim of the back (see photo #3) There is a chip in the rim as you can see and if you look closely you will see a crack in the rim just under that chip. That crack is not structural at all. The crack does not extend beyond what you see in the photo. That can be easily glued. This ukulele has 17 frets and the over-all length is 21 inches. It shouldn't take much to restore this ukulele to being a nice playable instrument. A great collectible and a wonderful gift for the vintage uke collector and musician.
