I purchased this professional laser leveling system in 2000 to stake out the corners of the house that I built. The 90 degree beam bender and precision tripod mount made this very simple. It has not been used since, was always stored in it's case and is in new condition. It does not have a single scratch on it. The box beam laser level is heavy duty extruded aluminum and made in the USA. This is a very high quality unit that is weather resistant and construction tough. It was advertised in 2000 on Johnson's web site for $887.00 (documnetation included). The kit includes a tripod leveling adapter plate with locking screw that attaches it to a standard 5/8" x 11" tpi mounting system, mounting clamp, Dual beam bender that creates two 90 degree reference beams which is used like a 100' framing square for one man layouts, a beam spreader that creates a laser chalkline for interior layouts, a padded storage case, new batteries and instructions. Dimensions: 1" w x 2-5/16" H x 16" long Weight: 1-5/8 lbs Level Vial: 7 minute Accuracy: +/- 1/4" over 100' Level Surfaces - Computer machined Optics: Dual coated glass (MgF2) for anti-reflection. Impervious to temperature. Shoots a beam accurate on the horizontal and vertical axis. Laser Calibration: Optically steered, permanent, factory calibrated - will not change, even if dropped. Most compettitors are mechanically steered and will go out of calibration if dropped Laser Beam - Cross section 6mm Beam Divergence - Less then .8mrad Laser Beam Power - Less then 5mw 635nm. Class IIIa Power Source - Two AA bateries, 10 hours of continuous use Shipping is free and I will insure it.
