Shoe sizes change over the years. We recommend that you compare the measurements we offer with a pair of your favorite-well fitting shoes for a good fit! Width is measured from the bottom at the widest part of the sole where the ball of the foot sits.

:: A NOTE ON MEASUREMENTS::
Every item from any time period has different “ideas” of measurement. Please pay attention to the actual measurements of the clothing as opposed to the SIZE on the label. I measure all my clothing laid out FLAT. All measurements need to be doubled, especially the hips, waist and bust.
For example: If the Bust measurement is 15" flat then the actual bust measurement is around 30 inches.

Bust: Laying Flat from Armpit to Armpit
Waist: Laying flat
Hip: Laying flat taken approx. 7” from the waist
Length: Laying flat from back collar to the hem ( pants or dresses)
Sleeve: Measurement from shoulder to cuff
Shoulder: Measurement from one shoulder seam to the other.
