Vintage Arthur Wood Large Piggy Bank 5122 

Antique Piggy Bank by Arthur Wood

Recently in my possession following the clearance of my god fathers’ house, I now offer this beautiful Piggy Bank by the wonderful, collectable Arthur Wood.  Dates back to anywhere from the 50’s through to the 70’s, this has a valued between £25 to £75.  For details of this valuation, see http://www.piggybankpage.co.uk/values.htm

Arthur Wood piggy banks are extremely appealing - from the more traditional pigs, to the more flamboyant and colourful. They include a wonderful variety of colours and shapes and are keenly collected. Arthur Wood piggy banks have a four figure number stamped underneath which indicates the pattern/colour scheme, rather than the shape or size.  This one is an unusual shape as the the majority of the one I have seen before have been rounder and much smaller and without the cute long snout.  Stamped 5122.

This will make a welcome addition to the most extensive of collections, as it would a first time piggy owner for that  extra special “little saver”!

Offered in pristine condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs.

Payment

 Postage 

I dispatch items twice weekly, Tuesdays and Fridays. If you require the item urgently, please contact me at the point of sale to let me know of its urgency and to check whether I am able to despatch prior to these allocated days. Please note that this may incur an additional charge should I be away and have to recruit the services of a third party. 

 Where possible, I use a postal method that can be tracked, however, for smaller items of minimal value, I request proof of posting and am able to produce this should the item fail to reach the intended recipient. Therefore claims for non receipt should be directed to Royal Mail and not myself. 

 Returns 

Please note that I take great care in listing my items and am here to answer any questions should you be unsure of any of the details. For this reason, I do not accept returns. That said, mistakes do happen and I would urge you to contact me straight away should you be in anyway unhappy with the sale. I am an honest seller and as such will do my very best to ensure that your 100% happy with the transaction.
