Fair, and during your entire time in Hong Kong. General Information about the Canton Fair: The world famous Canton Fair, also known as the China Import and
Export Fair is the largest trade fair in the world. It has been held in
Guangzhou for the last 53 years, since China opened its’ doors to the West. The
Fair is scheduled in three phases. Each phase covers different categories of products,
so pick the phase(s) of interest to you. Your trip will provide adequate time
to see all of the vendors at each of
the phases you attend and to talk seriously to the vendors of interest to you. Phase I is October 14-19, 2012. It includes machinery, bicycles,
motorcycles, vehicles and vehicle spare parts, chemical products, hardware, tools, vehicles,
construction machinery, electrical household appliances, consumer electronics, computers,
communications equipment, lighting equipment, building and decorative
materials, chemical products, sanitary and bathroom products and an international pavilion for all
non-Chinese vendors. Phase II is October 22-27, 2012. It includes consumer goods, home decorations, kitchenware,
tableware, ceramics, home decoration, glassware, furniture, gardening, household
items, personal care products, toiletries, clocks and watches, optical
instruments, toys, gifts and premium items. Phase III is October 30-November 4, 2012. It includes men’s, women’s and
children’s wear, intimates, furs and leather, fashion accessories, home
textiles, raw materials and fabrics, carpets and tapestries, food, native
products, medicines and health products, medical devices, sports, travel and
recreation products, office supplies, shoes, cases and bags. Trip Dates – Your Choice of: Saturday, October 13, 2012 – Sunday, October 28, 2012, covering Fair
Phase I and II, or Saturday, October 20, 2012 – Sunday, November 4, 2012, covering Fair Phase
II and III. A 23 Day/21 Night Trip is also available – (See additional
charge below): Saturday, October 13, 2012 – Sunday, November 4, 2012, covering all 3
Fair Phases. Terms – Please read carefully. Please to contact us with any questions. The complete package is
$7,949 USD per person, which includes individual occupancy of your hotel room. This is a COMPLETE package that includes EVERYTHING, other than souvenirs and commercial samples, if you
choose to purchase either. Flights will be via United Airlines or another
Star Alliance Airline. You will receive FT airline miles for your flights. On the one round trip, you will earn most of the miles needed for a free domestic trip. Package
includes airline baggage fees on 2 suitcases up to 50 pounds (23 Kilos) each. Attire
is business casual throughout the trip. Bring your business associate or significant other for only $4,999 USD and share your room with them. Upgrade to the 23 day trip is an additional
$1,745 USD. A $2,500 USD deposit must be paid within 7 days of purchase,
together with your United Airlines or other Star Alliance Airline FT
number, a photocopy of the identification page of your passport so that we may
secure your invitations, reservations and airline tickets, your home address
and your email address, and special dietary requirements, if any. Individuals
residing in a country other than that of their citizenship must also provide a
photocopy of their green card (Permanent Resident Card) as well. The deposit
may be paid through Paypal, credit card, wire transfer, electronic check or
business, personal or bank check. If we do not receive your deposit within 7
days of purchase, your reservation will be cancelled. The balance in full, together with any upgrade fees is due in
full, prior to July 25, 2012. It may also be paid by any of the above methods.
If you are having us secure your Chinese Visa (at no additional cost to you),
we must have your passport prior to August 25, 2012. Your passport must be
valid through April 21, 2013 or later.
We will secure your Chinese Visa and return your passport with Chinese
Visa together with your airline tickets, via signature required overnight mail
before September 15, 2012. If you do not typically have someone at home to sign
for overnight mail, please send us a work or other address where you can
receive and sign for your passport, Visa and tickets. If you need your passport
for other international travel anytime between August 25, 2012 and September 15, 2012, please let us know and we will make special arrangements to
accommodate your needs. Cancellation: If you cancel your trip for any reason: Prior to July 25, 2012, a cancellation fee of $500 per person will apply. The
balance of your deposit will be promptly refunded. Between July 25, 2012 and August 25, 2012, a cancellation fee of $2,500 per person will apply; however
each person will receive an airline credit of $2,000, which can be used for any travel through
July 25, 2013. If you do not send your full payment and required documents by
July 25, 2012, we will be forced to cancel your reservation and apply the $2,500 cancellation fee. Between August 26, 2012 and September 15, 2012, a cancellation fee of $5,000 per person will apply; however each person will receive an airline credit of $2,000, which can
be used for any travel through July 25, 2013. After September 15, 2012, cancellation will cost 100% of all
payments, including any upgrade fees; however each person will receive an airline credit
of $2,000, which can be used for any travel through July 25, 2013. |
