here i am offering on of my rarest finds it is a shoe in which there is bedding all hand made right down to the pillow and pillow case , the shoe and the heel have so many visable hand stiches that are tiny and uniform , there is a mother doll , and 4 clildren , all of them have the cutest what looks to be very early ink drawn faces , all of their clothing is hand made . the entire shoe was designed and hand done by some one whom it must have taken a very long time to make , a very long time ago. they are oil cloth and made to resembel ( the old woman , lady who lived in a shoe who had so many children she did not know what to do) . this is one of the most precious pieces i have ever come across in all of my years of doll collecting . there is one doll that was added years later , she is of a more modern design , but all the rest of them are original here are the mesurments : the shoe measures 9 inches long , 3 inches wide 5 1/2 inches tall . the mother doll is 5 inches tall the small baby wearing a bonnett is 3 inches if measuring bonnett , 2 1/4 just the doll . the next girl is 3 inches big . the smallest is 3 inches .the newer doll is about 4 inches . each little face has detailed features and are hand drawn . i cannot tell you how beautiful this rare collection of primitive dolls really is . ( please excuse my camera i could not get it to act right . but i need to say that the pictures do no justice to this item .sorry for that .
