The Diagram above shows that this mount will fit up to some 37 inch TVs. This statement is true, but we carry a larger mount in our EBAY STORE that will work much better on the larger size TVs. When your mounting a large TV you will want to hit 2 wall studs to insure your TV stays on the wall. Smaller TVs can be mounted on 1 stud if done properly if the studs don't line up on center when mounting your display. What is Vesa Standard on mounting my TV on the wall? Vesa Standard is the measurement of the TV mounting pattern on the back of your flat screen in millimeters. I have put together a Vesa Standard Chart below to help you since the USA does not normally measure in millimeters.
