You are bidding on one "Precision Gear" Ring and Pinion Set, Brand New in the factory box. Precision Gear was one of very few manufacturers that actually tested every set for trueness and low noise. You will see a colored die on every gear where they went through this process. This fits a GM 12 Bolt Car rear end. This set will not fit a GM Truck 12 Bolt rear end. They retail for around $200.00. This fits a 3-Series carrier. This means a carrier that originally came with a 3.73 ratio and numerically lower ratio gear. The ring gear is thicker so that you do not have to use a spacer that will weaken the rear ends potential.
This gear set is BRAND NEW, but it is about 10-12 years old. Back when Precision Gear was one of the best gear sets you could buy. It is some of my old stock that I have kept in hopes of using some day. Everything I have now is 9" Ford. So that is why it is up for sale.
