Macbook 13" Top Case keyboard keys trackpad (2.0)

NOTICE: All of these units are USED.  They will ALL have EDGE CHIPS and SOME units will have marks, discoloration or maybe some adhesive residue from stickers.  I will clean these to my best ability but you may need to do a final wipe to get any dirt I miss.  THESE are sold AS-IS.

To be CLEAR --- THESE HAVE EDGE CHIPS and ARE USED.  100% functional, but with cosmetic issues.

I have sold almost 100 of these keyboards but every once in a while I get someone who doesn't read this carefully so I want to stress the cosmetic condition of these units.

Up for sale is an original Apple OEM top case taken from a 13" Macbook 2.0Ghz Core 2 Duo. The part number is 613-6695 DD#2. (I also have a few with an orange/copper cable that has part number 613-6408 DD#1 which are compatible and I may send you this unit instead.)

This is a Factory Original Apple Part.

These are WHITE keyboards.  I do not have any black units.

The keyboard and trackpad function perfectly and merely have cosmetic flaws (i.e. edge chips, discoloration).  The main photo is representative of the types of chips.I refurbish and resell used macbooks and one of my upgrades includes adding a brand new keyboard.

If you have a damaged keyboard and need a cheap replacement, or need to replace keys or the springs under the keys, this is a great way to do so without spending a lot of money on a new keyboard. You can use this for parts and repair, or you can replace your entire keyboard with this unit.

This keyboard may work on other 13.3" MacBook models.  It is your responsibility to make sure.

These top cases WILL HAVE EDGE CHIPS so if you do not care about that, this is a great deal.

Please look at the photos to compare and see if this unit works on your mac. It has a silver cable connector and I have highlighted the different keys so you can compare.

The front of this keyboard has the following keys.  Please see if yours matches:

1. F1-F5 have brightness, mute and sound vol. icons
2. F6 work as a num lock key. This key should have a green LED light.
3. F7 has an expose icon
4. F8-F12 do not have any special icons (but you can still program them).
5. Lower left buttons say "control", "alt/option" and the key next to the space bar has the apple logo and command symbol
6. Lower right side buttons have the apple logo and command symbol and "enter".
7. The letters on the right side have numbers and symbols to work like a keypad.

Note: In order to keep down labor costs and give you the cheapest price, I have not cleaned these units.  They come straight off my macbooks and go on sale.  A mr.clean magic eraser or a little fantastic sprayed on a towel will clean it up fast.  Don't spray directly on the keyboard or the cleaner may leak into your mac and damage the motherboard.
