This is the mother of all domain names, THEWORLDOFWARCRAFT.COM was registered BEFORE Blizzard Entertainment even announced the release of the game. Blizzard themselves offered $5,000 a few months after the game was announced. This was a website I had full intentions of developing into an eBusiness so I had no intentions on selling it at the time. If you look at the original videos and the original poster designs for World of Warcraft the official name was going to be 'The World of Warcraft' to keep the acronym (TWOW) but had to shorten it because I had already purchased the domain name. I spoke to several legal aids and because of the date I purchased the domain name, there was no legal actions Blizzard could do. 

So if your the ultimate fan, or a fan who knows the potential of this domain, then you can understand why I had reserve about selling it. Especially when the domain name Diabloii.com sold for 13.3 million dollars and still turned a profit, WoW has proved to be longer living & have nearly as many users. The growth for this game is constant and the value of this domain will continue to rise.
