Up for auction is a miniature die cast pencil sharpener in the shape of a kitchen cupboard (No 6030) with box. It has 3 doors that open and 2 drawer that open. It is marked “made in Hong Kong. The box has some minor wear on the edges. The cupboard measures approximately 2 1/2” tall, 1 1/2” wide and 1” deep. Very good vintage condition with some surface wear. I will be placing many of this type of item for auction in the next month. Please see pictures for details. I believe the manufacturing material is an alloy called “lodestone” with a copper chrome finish. The first pencil sharpeners were originally manufactured by the firm Play me de Beniparrell (Valencia), and appeared in the market in the year 1969, and were later recreated by EMB Martini and Hong Kong manufactures.
