Description: Card stock, round corners (as issued) RARE as they get. 2.5x3.5, b&w drawing, back is red. All backs promote a TV show “Cartoon-a-quiz” which was hosted by Jim Gibbons, was sponsored by LP Steuart Inc “Your Downtown Automotive Center”. WMAL TV Channel 7. “Play Safe”. Front “picture” is black & white artwork/drawing of player w/printed signature below as well as position & team. RARE exceptionally! Considered to be first police set. Card with some wear, piece of aged tape front & back top center. Front reads “Quarterback Washington Redskins”. Letter “B” in pencil bottom front, small; Heavy 1” Crease top left corner, lite spotty scattered staining, few small edge chips. Attended Texas Christian University. Played with the Redskins 1937-1952. Member Pro Football Hall of Fame – This card about as tough as they get!.
