With their expertise in resins, hand painted porcelain & sumptuous fabrics, Kurt Adler® as created a marvelous collectible in the FABRICHE Santa. This piece is in the SMITHSONIAN Museum collection in Washington D.C. and has been displayed in the Presidential White House. We are presenting the earliest creations which are now retired. What makes them unique to the items on the market today is the presence of volumes of hand-sewn draping fabrics, intricate detailing, inspired brushwork & realistic accessories which are well-blended to create a truly one-of-a-kind collectible. Unfortunately, because of the high cost of the process, the newer pieces contain less of the FABRICHE feature ... Style:  This softly smiling Santa is wearing a rich red FABRICHE cloak which is pleated in the back and full of sumptuous draping and folds. Santa rides in the cockpit of his aircraft with a special delivery - a sack full of gifts! Santa's tasteful cap and coat are trimmed all around with traditional fur. Santa's FABRICHE burlap sack spills out gifts as he does a "fly by" with his bright green and white scarf trailing. Materials:   Clothtique fabric. Aircraft: Resin. This sculpture is entirely hand painted. Detailed Condition:  The Santa is MINT in its original retail box with original packing materials & hang tags included. Figure can hang (hanger included) or stand (as photographed). If necessary, we add additional archival tissue for shipment. NIB.
