OK, all you diehard Packer fans. What a season so far!  Can they go undefeated.  Me personally, I don't care as long as they win the SB!

Now, I reluctantly need to sell some of my prized Packer possessions and here is one of the top ones.  If you collect Packer cards as I do, you know about the 1961 Packers Lake to Lake cards issued in 1961 out of Sheboygan WI.  The idea was that you collected the cards and them submitted them for prizes.  For example, 5 cards got you a Packer Backer shoulder patch, 20 cards got you a Dubow official regulation football, etc. For that reason, some of these cards are rare.  Since many of them were stapled to the product, it can be tough to find top grade cards.  Card numbers 9-16 and 25-31 are not hard to find, if you search right now, you'll probably find some on Ebay.  Cards 32-36 are the easy short prints, a bit tougher to find.  But cards 1-8 and 17-24 are the REAL TOUGH short prints.

In my experience, the toughest are #1 Kramer, #18 Starr, and #19 Nitschke.  If you are trying to put this set together in a decent grade, chances are you still need one of those three.  Starr or Nitchke in PSA 7 or higher are VERY rare.  And I have NEVER seen a Kramer card any better then PSA 6.

Here I offer up card #18, Bart Starr.  On Ebay, I have seen the Starr card in poor condition with a staple hole, sell for almost $200.  PSA 8's have sold for thousands in other auctions. My card here is graded SGC 86 NM+ which is like PSA 7.5,  Sorry the picture is not that great, the yellow lines that appear in the background are not on the card, not sure how the camera got them in there, glare?

I have a reserve on the card to protect me, please do not contact me and ask what it is to gain an unfair advantage - do like I do on reserved priced items - bid until you are at your highest price and then that's it.   If the reserved price is not met, it goes back into my collection.  Shipping will be FREE.  I do not ship outside of the US so please do not bid if that is you.

If you are a collector and want to spend your Christmas money on a very rare card, this is it.

I also will be listing a 1964 Wheaties Stamp of  Bart Starr graded SGC 96 MINT, like PSA 9, check that out also.
