This stunning Navajo squash blossom necklace and earring set features 100 carats of natural Royston turquoise varyting blue to green in color. Each turquoise piece contains portions of tan, light or dark brown matrix running throughout and is set in a sawtooth bezel. Each of the 10 blossoms features a single sterling silver leaf, attached rope patterns and three small sterling dots, and each graduates larger toward the naja. The naja of the piece holds six pieces of turqouise-two small stones at each end and four larger stones making up the curve. Three of the six stones are bordered with sterling leaves while five of the six are decorated with sterling rope patterns. The blossoms are set on a double strand of sterling silver beads that merges into a single strand toward the top. The matching earrings feature the same leaf and sterling silver rope pattern and the Royston turquoise stones match those of the necklace beautifully. Naja measures 2 1/2" long x 2 3/8" wide. Necklace measures 23 1/2" from end to end (not including naja length). Earrings measure 1 1/2" long including french hook x 3/4" wide. |
