100% of all proceeds will be donated to Calling All Crows to benefit "Bringing Change to Women" (3.75% will be added to final price to cover auction handling fees, insuring CAC will receive 100% of proceeds) Adrianne and Natalia were inspired to create the painting based on the lyrics of State Radio's song "Calling All Crows". CAC is an outstanding service organization which is "dedicated to mobilizing musicians and fans to empower women around the world through service." About Calling All Crows: Founded in 2008 by musician Chad Stokes (Dispatch, State Radio) and tour manager Sybil Gallagher, Calling All Crows uses a three-prong service model to create sustainable change for women around the world: humanitarian aid, hands on volunteerism, and issue advocacy. Since December 2008, Calling All Crows has raised over $200,000 to empower women in Sudan and Afghanistan and invested more than 10,000 hours of service in local communities across North America and Europe. About Adrianne and Natalia and the Art Is Song Tour http://marketmonkeys.com/artissong/Natalia Zukerman and Adrianne Gonzalez met four years ago at a music festival and had an immediate musical connection. Relying on imagery to convey emotions, the style of songwriting for both is very visual. So it would seem only natural for two songwriters who are also painters to collaborate. Fast forward several years later and Natalia and Adrianne are embarking on their first tour combining their visual art and their music in “Art is Song.” Art is Song makes its way to house concerts and Festivals (Riversong in Hutchinson, MN, Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival and Rocky Mountain Women’s Music Festival) throughout the southeast, midwest and northeast beginning July 6th.
