Tornado Destroying Southwestern Portion of City

 

You are bidding on an original antique engraving and article from an 1880s newspaper. It shows a home being destroyed by a tornado in Iowa as a family dashes to their underground tornado shelter.

The page measures approximately 10.75 x 15.5 inches (27 x 39cm). The picture fills most of the page (with the newspaper log above it). There is unrelated text on the back side. Back then, the paper was high quality and the print and illustrations are crisp.

The page has some age stains in the outer margin that do not touch the picture or text (so it could easily be trimmed).

This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE antique item.

All prints are delivered in an archival sleeve and rolled in a sturdy tube. I stand behind my products and offer a FULL REFUND if you think the product does not match the description in any way.
