18" dia. - 9 blade computer designed, CNC cut 10 ga. (.135) steel wind turbine rotor hub (Shown Here Mounted In Red). Designs have withstood 85 mph Oklahoma wind storms! Low mass, silent running, and tough. Will deliver up to 4kW generating capability with 30 inch blades, 3kW with 24 inch blades with very good low wind startup. Coated with aluminized corrosion preventative primer. They are reversable for Right or Left rotation. Trailing edge of blades are perpendicular to center hole. This design feature is derived from high performance aircraft wing technology. Blades are acting as knives slicing their way through the air passing freely through hub. These radial style hubs are strongly recommended for the residential wind generator builder/hobbiest using PVC or ABS pipe for blades. I would rather use indestructable ABS plastic blades for reliability and safety. No more dangerous exploding turbines!
