Presenting Kingston Manor by artist,

Janet Chambers, Bonnets & Bows.

Kingston Manor is the Beacon Hill dollhouse by Greenleaf.  This dollhouse has been customized by adding stone work to the front and sides, it has a lot of extra trim, veranda on the second floor and a large, molded picture on the ceiling of the living/parlor room.
This elegant, victorian house is enhanced by a curved Mansard roof and many beautiful silkscreened windows.  It has four dormer and two bay windows.  It contains three fireplaces, one of which, is built in, in the parents room.  This house has a beautiful oak, winding staircase from the first floor to the third floor. All floors are stained an oak color except the kitchen and bath.  Kingston Manor has nine rooms, including the three hallways.  It measures 32"wide x41.5 high and 18" deep.
Kingston Manor comes fully furnished.  Each piece of furniture was purchased separately, especially for this house.  All furniture is new except for the baby carriage.  Some pieces may not reflect the Victorian era, but was felt that it fit this house perfectly.  This house has a chandelier and a few other 12v lights and could easily be converted to electric.
Kingston Manor also comes with all dolls.  Dolls are made of porcelain and are posable.

Please enjoy the story of the Kingston Manor family!

Kingston Manor is the home of William Kingston 30, and his wife Elizabeth 26.  They have a 5yr. old daughter named Rose, who is already becoming a young lady and is the apple of her Father's eye.  They also have 3mo. old Gracie, who is a very sweet, happy baby.  The Kingstons are taken care of by Elizabeth's long-time maid/nanny, Zelda.  Zelda's Mother was Elizabeth's Mothers maid and she always brought Zelda along.  Zelda & Elizabeth  grew up together.  They are best friends and truly love each other like the sisters they never had.
William's home is in Charleston, SC, where he and his family own a large shipping business.  William met Elizabeth in Paris, where she had gone to study fashion, accompanied by her maid Zelda.  William & Elizabeth fell in love instantly.  They returned to the US by way of one of William's ships and spent as much time together as Elizabeth's reputation would allow.  William accoompanied Elizabeth back to New York, where she lives with her parents, to ask for her hand in marriage.  Four months later, Elizabeth's parents gave them a very extravagent wedding with five hundred family members and guests.  Their wedding celebration lasted for four days. They moved into Williams parents estate in Charleston.  Now, six years later, William & Elizabeth just purchased their own home in San Francisco and named it Kingston Manor.  William moved here, because of his connections, to get involved in politics.  Elizabeth misses her family back east but stays busy doing chairity work and sewing.  Elizabeth loves to make beautiful hats and hopes to have her own hat shop one day.  Elizabeth loves bright colors, especially pink.  She was way ahead of her time in making window treatments.  Elizabeth would love to have someone help her finish decorating her new house, especially when her family will be visiting for a few weeks.  William & Elizabeth are more in love every day and hope to be blessed with another child, one day, hopefully a little boy!

Please let your imagination run wild  through the rooms of Kingston Manor!
Kingston Manor is for the serious collector and is not recommended for children.

Thanks so much for visiting and please, feel free to ask questions!
