Published September, 1904. 302 pages. Measures 7” tall and 4” wide. Has on inside cover an original library card holder and stamps throughout book (inside cover is sticker that is black magic marked through but you can read Class 821 Book J). Some of the contents; Where and when the boy lived, Who the Chaucers were, His boyhood and education, as it may have been – He becomes a page in the English Court, Chaucer in the Royal Household – Life of the Feudal Lords, Chaucer becomes a soldier, is captured and ransomed – He marries…and so much more. Outside cover has some wear from age; scruffs, small stains (on back), smudges, small wear on corners and edges. Inside pages have some wear from age; pencil tracing along outline on picture (see through page), smudges, library stamps, small tears, creases from folding, and yellowing. See all pictures!
