JATROPHA SEEDS

We are offering bulk quantities of Jatropha seeds (500 seeds +) for people interested in exploring what will soon be the "fuel of the future."

Jatropha curcas is an oil plant. The vegetable oil of Jatropha curcas has the ability to provide a commercially viable alternative to diesel oil. The new biodiesel oil which is produced directly from the Jatropha fruit can effectively run diesel engines with little or no engine conversion.

These durable seeds can be germinated and planted in all kinds of soil and will grow and flourish in weather which doesn't drop below freezing (32 degrees F).
The trees can grow to 20 feet tall, can thrive up to 50 years. The plants can be harvested twice a year, and are ready for harvest 18 months after planting.

One acre of Jatropha can yield between 600 to 1,000 gallons of oil per year at minimum.

***As with all plant seeds, not all seeds will germinate and grow. As such, we will include extra seeds in every order!
