Order Confirmation
Shortly after we download and enter your order, an order confirmation (Confirmation #1) is emailed to you confirming that your order was received and entered by us. Included will be an order/invoice number.
When we have filled and shipped your order, we will email you a Second Confirmation (Confirmation #2), which includes date shipped, your $ total, all the shipping info you need to track your order if you wish to, and most important, a thank you for ordering your supplies from Dharma.

Change / Cancel Your Order
We pick, check, pack, invoice, and often ship orders within hours of receiving them so we can get them to you fast! Therefore, if you need to change or cancel your order, you must contact us quickly! It's best to call us on the phone rather than emailing us because by the time we go through all of the day's emails, your order will probably be on its way to you!

Returns
If you need to return something, no problem. You can request a refund or an exchange or a credit, as you wish. Please examine the contents of your order upon arrival and call us right away if you need to return something for any reason. You have 30 days from the invoice date to get an RA# (Return Authorization Number). After 30 days no returns are possible. See below for more detail, and about special order and drop shipped items, books and DVDs - Books must be in brand new condition and must be returned within 10 days. DVDs cannot be returned unless defective. Sorry, but we sell them discounted and returns after they are read or viewed are not possible.
Call and get an RA# to put on the outside of the box. (Without it there will be confusion). Returned items must be in resellable, original condition.

Do not ship anything C.O.D.
We'll refund the shipping or pay for shipping to replace the item only if we made a mistake. If we did not do anything wrong, then we still have no problem with a refund or exchange, but we won't refund the shipping.
If your return reduces your order to a lower discount level, naturally we will have to recalculate the cost of the items you keep at the correct discount. Opened dyes and paints and other liquids and powders are not returnable unless defective, nor are sale items. DVDs, Steamers, Heat Presses and other drop ship or special order items are not returnable unless defective. We also do reserve the right to charge a restocking fee to cover our expenses for arbitrary returns for reasons not involving an error on our part or exchanges for a different size. That seems fair.

Sales Tax
Ok, here's the deal:
-If we ship to an address outside of California, we are not required to collect sales tax at this time.
-If we ship to an address within California, we must collect sales tax (we automatically add it into the cost of your order) and remit it to the state.

Dye Expectations
Dyeing is a craft, not a pure science, and like all crafts there is a learning curve and many nuances that affect the outcome...Be advised - we do not guarantee the result you wind up with will be what you want. One needs to read the directions carefully, follow them step by step, and test first when the results are more critical. If you are not sure about which dye to use after reading our descriptions, let us know, we're here to help, but in the end, you should still test, because many situations are unique. Also, when kids are tie dyeing, they are delighted no matter how the shirts look. We adults are much more critical and hard on ourselves or we just have a vision in our head of what we think it should look like. For those trying to match the color of something else exactly, you can get lucky, or it can take days of testing and tweaking.
